Rise up from the ashes. Fly like a phoenix.
Tattoo Cover-Ups
For many survivors, tattoos, scars, or burns were inflicted as forms of branding or control.
These visible reminders can carry deep emotional weight and impact self-confidence and healing.
Tattoo cover-ups and removals allow survivors to reclaim their bodies—turning what was once a mark of exploitation into a symbol of freedom, identity, and renewal.

💫 Our Partner: Atlanta Redemption Ink (ARI)
Atlanta Redemption Ink (ARI) is a survivor-founded and survivor-led organization created by Jessica Lamb.
ARI transforms painful reminders of the past into symbols of hope through artistry and trauma-informed care.
Their nationwide network of artists provides tattoo cover-ups and removals for survivors of trafficking, exploitation, self-harm, addiction, and other forms of trauma.
Together, Survivor Source and ARI are working to help survivors reclaim their bodies and restore confidence through creative healing, dignity, and empowerment.
Survivor Source is currently fundraising to offer small grants that help cover tattoo-removal and cover-up costs for survivors.
As funding becomes available, updates will be shared here and within the Survivor Career Community (SCC).
If you’d like to be notified when this program opens—or need help connecting with ARI now—please reach out through our Contact Form.
Thank you for supporting survivor-led healing and creativity.
